the workshop
The Hip Hop Heals Most DEAFinitely Workshop is a full or half day program bringing hip hop dance to Deaf organizations and schools. The workshop allows for different age and skill level dancers to learn a hip hop routine and perform it for an audience. This helps instill a sense of accomplishment and mastery in all who participate.
If you are interested in having HHHMD provide a workshop at your school, business, dance studio, community center or anywhere else, then please fill out the “Workshop Request Form.”
"Everyone at PS 347 greatly enjoyed the Hip Hop Heals Most DEAFinitely Workshop. Lauren and Jamie J. came to the school and taught groups of kids from the age of 5 to 18 years old some new moves as part of our 'ASL Fest Week,' in the Winter of 2009. The students responded so well to Lauren & Jamie, and they picked up the choreography so quickly. Some teachers even got on stage to perform as well! They did a great job and we hope HHHMD will return to do another workshop in the future."
